Stacked Descendants

Setup:

The game can be 2 players or 4 players if the teams of 2 take turns. The game will be played with given plates and columns (Lego) for the construction of the platforms the game will be played on.

The platforms are constructed by placing 5 columns evenly to create 4 spaces between them on the largest plate.

Example: ||X||X||X||X||
These spaces should be 4 units in length.

On top of these columns, the smaller platform will be placed and 3 more columns will be made to make 2 more spaces.

On this, a final platform will be created.

The players decide on a distance and set their platforms away from their opponent's by this length.

The platforms should look like:

            X

     ||X||X||

||X||X||X||X||

Play:

Once the platforms have been created, players set their 2X4 pieces on the top platform. By a fair-chance system a player goes first. The second player sets their piece upright on its side on the highest platform. The first player uses their piece on the same platform and by a single contact motion (such as flicking) attempts to knock off the other player's piece.

Players take turns doing this action. If the knock-off is successful, the player whose piece was knocked off goes down a level of a platform(they can remove the top platform if they so wish). They now use 2X4 pieces in the 2 spaces on this level. If they have not knocked off their opponents top piece, they must do so from this lower angle.

Pieces are set up on their side on all levels. The player on the lower level gets to use all of his pieces at the same time, then the higher opponent can use their turn. If a player loses a piece on level 2, that piece is put aside but the player can still use the other 2X2 piece. This process is repeated for level 3 (the level 2 platform can be removed if its in the way of player during their knock-off phase), where 4 2X1 pieces will be used. The player can use all 4 of these pieces at one time before switching turns with their opponent, even if they are still on the top plat form.

A player finally wins when their opponent has lost all of their pieces from level 3.
