Battle Field: Land Mines

1. 10 tokens (Land Mines) – 5 each

2. 2 player tokens – 1 each

3. cards

4. A coin

Game Rules:

1. Two-player game.

2. Each player will start off with 5 tokens which are Land Mines.

3. One player will throw the coin to see which side he or she will be on the board and if it is Heads that player goes first, if it is Tails the other player goes first. Each player may choose the starting point from the two spots displayed START.

4. Each player will then throw the coin once each turn and if Heads the player can move one spot and place a Land Mine anywhere on the map except for the water region (the player may choose to put a Land Mine down or not), if Tails the player can move two spots.

5. Each player can move in any direction except diagonally.

6. If a player lands on a Land Mine, the other player throws the coin and the player that landed on the Land Mine calls Heads or Tails. If the call is correct, that player safely passes through the Land Mine and collects the Land Mind on that spot. If the call is incorrect, that player steps on a Land Mine and loses a turn and the other player collects the Land Mind on that spot. *Players can not pass through a Land Mine. The player must stop at the Land Mine spot even if they don’t land directly on that spot. Players have to throw a coin even if the Land Mine is placed by that player.

7. If the player lands on a C spot, that player will draw a card and follow the instructions on the card.

8. The blue spots on the board are waters and Land Mines can’t be placed there and if a player lands in the water, the player must land and stop at a non-water spot before they can go back into a water spot.

9. The first player to land directly on the GOAL spot wins the game.
